Inspiration for Study of Drue

Study of Drue began, again, in the Wednesday morning portrait study group. The greater Pensacola area hosts several Naval Bases, focusing primarily on flight school. So the pilots-and-navigators-in-training try to find activities and events around town to make life fun while they’re here. In Drue’s case, he was temporarily stationed at Naval Air Station Pensacola (the largest Navy base), and somehow, someone in the portrait group convinced him to come sit still for three hours. Poor chap! 😀
