Inspiration for September Moon Plein Air

I was getting into my car to go home on a Monday night…and instead went back inside the studio and grabbed my easel and started painting September Moon Plein Air. This painting is my first nocturne, and I’m keen on accomplishing more in the future. I love the moon and stars…something magical about these celestial bodies (maybe a holdover from reading Tolkien in my youth).
