Inspiration for Derelict Houseboat Study

I painted Derelict Houseboat during the Strada Easel 30 Day September Painting Challenge. Just a few miles down the road from my house, an old marina houses a couple dozen older boats, all in various states of questionable seaworthiness and disrepair. This houseboat might be the worst of the lot, however; I don’t foresee it ever again taking to the water!
