Copper and Harvest | 6×8 | Oil on Panel
Inspiration for Copper and Harvest
I began Copper and Harvest as a demo for a still-life painting workshop and finished it in the studio. I don’t paint still-lifes often, but shiny metals and glass have appealed to me a lot lately. Playing with the reflections and transparency of both materials brings much joy to my heart! These smaller-sized paintings also let me knock out a finished product a bit quicker, so I can move on to the next subject matter before my focus starts to drift. 😀
